Three in the Shadow

This intimate study brings you up close to the rich textures and warmth of a late harvest. Three large apples nestle closely together, their heavy forms overlapping against a dark, velvety background. The play of light across their surfaces reveals a beautiful spectrum of color—from deep, blushing crimson and freckled golds to a soft, sun-warmed yellow.

Fresh, vibrant green leaves frame the fruit, casting gentle shadows that give the entire piece a grounded, organic weight. With its rich contrast and expressive, tactile brushwork, this painting captures the cozy, comforting essence of autumn. It makes for an inviting focal point in a small kitchen corner, above a coffee station, or tucked onto a cottage-style bookshelf.
