Autumn’s Rest

There is a rich, grounding balance to this composition that feels both classic and comforting. Three plump, crimson apples sit in a neat row, their skin catching warm glints of studio light that reveal deep reds, golden undertones, and vibrant greens. Rising quietly behind them is a solitary mint-green vase, glowing softly against a stark, midnight-blue backdrop.

The sharp contrast between the deep shadows and the luminous fruit creates a dramatic, yet deeply peaceful atmosphere. Painted with thoughtful, visible brushwork that emphasizes the texture of the canvas, this piece celebrates the simple beauty of simple things. It is a perfect addition to a warm dining room, a cozy breakfast nook, or an art wall looking for a rich pop of color.
